MIT’s Teaching Systems Lab educates Teachers, one MOOC at a time

Researchers at MIT’s Teaching Systems Lab (TSL) believe that better student learning depends upon better teacher learning. Through teacher practice spaces and other hands-on explorations, TSL aims to prepare teachers for the classroom of the future. The third function of the lab is online and blended learning, which -- given how busy teachers can be -- plays a central role in teacher preparation and professional development. The lab has recently expanded their catalogue for 2018-2019, offering the following, free Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs):

 

Launching Innovation in Schools

Based on the work of Justin Reich (TSL) and Peter Senge (MIT Sloan), Launching Innovations in Schools is a self-paced course focused on vision, capacity building and collaboration with stakeholders at multiple levels.

Envisioning the Graduate of the Future
